About Us

At Bright Outcomes Support Services,

we believe progress happens through consistent support, real-world practice, and meaningful community engagement. We are committed to helping adults with developmental disabilities build practical life skills, strengthen independence, and achieve goals that matter to them.

We serve adults 18 and older enrolled in Virginia’s Developmental Disability Waivers as well as private pay. 

Services Areas: Chesterfield, Greater Richmond, Goochland, Powhatan, Tri-cities, and surrounding areas

Our Services

Our services provide person-centered support that helps adults with developmental disabilities build independence and confidence in their daily lives. Services are tailored to each person’s goals and needs as outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP).

Community Engagement

Small-group support designed to help individuals participate more independently in community life. Services focus on building social connections, strengthening communication skills, and increasing confidence while navigating everyday environments.

Community Coaching

Individualized, one-on-one support designed to help individuals develop and strengthen the skills needed for greater independence and self-sufficiency. This service focuses on building practical life skills, improving decision-making abilities, and increasing confidence in managing daily responsibilities.

Focus Areas

Our services support skill development in areas such as independent living, job readiness, money management, social communication, recreation, health and wellness, community integration, volunteering, and more.

How to get started

Step 1 - Referral

Individuals or support coordinators can contact Bright Outcomes Support Services to discuss service needs and availability.

Step 2 - Intake & Service Planning

We review the client’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) and coordinate with the support coordinator to ensure services align with the individual’s goals and waiver authorization.

Step 3 - Schedule Services

Once services are approved, we schedule community engagement or community coaching sessions based on the individual’s goals and availability.

Step 4 - Begin Services

Services begin with a focus on building independence, confidence, and meaningful community participation.
